The Rattler Trail – Parcel B (#03019-03563) is a +/- 2,095-acre parcel of timberland located in southern Grant County about eleven miles south of Sheridan, AR (North 34.148381°, West 92.430108°). The topography gently slopes southwesterly towards the Saline River which runs along the edge of the property for nearly four miles! Access is available with multiple gated timber company woodsroad crossing the property. The majority of the timber consists of bottomland hardwood. Stand 41 will be completely cleared in 2021, but not site prepared or planted – stand 50A will be site prepared in the fall of 2021 and seedlings have been ordered. According to the USDA NRCS web soil survey, the soil composition of the property is an assortment of silt loams.
