Young Planted Pine Land /W Road For Sal Near Strong, AR

The Ellison Road Forty (#03019-03717) is a +/- 40-acre parcel of timberland located in southeastern Union County about eight miles southwest of Strong, AR (North 33.032790°, West 92.447705°).  The topography consists of upland /well drained hills. Access is excellent with "Ellison Road", a gravel public road, running through the property for about a quarter-mile.  The majority of the land was planted with loblolly pine about 12 years ago and has yet to be first-thinned; about an acre of mixed hardwood remain as a timbered drain. According to the USDA NRCS web soil survey, the soils consist of an assortment of sandy loams that gives the tract a weighted average site index of 86.1 feet for Loblolly Pine (base age 50).
