Buffalo National River Is Your Backdoor

Fifteen acres located on an old historic road leading to the Buffalo National River has a pad prepared for a house with a view of distant Ozark Mountain vistas. There was a homestead on the properties in the early part of last century and they had a hand dug well or cistern. The rest of the homestead has gone into oblivion. This gentle laying tract of land is about half pasture and half hardwoods. Access is provided by a Searcy County road and a trash pickup service is available. There is one established apple tree and a whole lot of deer that would like to get to it.  A small frog pond sits near the road and attracts a lot of wildlife. The road dead ends at the Buffalo National Park 1 ½ miles past the property where you will find lots of trails to hike or ride a horse and direct access to the river where the crowds don’t go. Expect to travel on some gravel roads to get to it but it is worth the effort.
