Vicky was raised on the rolling prairies of Central Illinois by her farmer father and her coal miner’s daughter mother but moved to Texas in 1982. She learned the value of working with her hands at an early age, generating an excellent work ethic and a willingness to help that is second to none. Having been raised on a farm with livestock, she has a spirited kinship for horses and cattle. On the farming end, her family planted corn, soybeans, wheat and oats. Her favorite hay was baled in the clover fields.

Her paternal family has roots back to the time of William Penn and the new colonies (mid 1600's) and is related to a Pony Express rider. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree from Angelo State University in 1996 and her Master's Degree in 2007 from Kaplan University. Vicky has worked an array of jobs, including as a CSI working crime scenes and as a latent fingerprint/face/iris examiner contracting with the DoD. She has taught at all levels of education and has participated in various conferences.. Vicky is passionate about helping local youth expand their knowledge and experiences.

God and family are primary in her life. Vicky has four children (Justin, Brandon, Shon and Breon), two grandchildren and a grandbaby on the way! She loves to travel and experience new places, and generally prefers to drive wherever she is going to garner the rich experiences the United States has to offer. 

Vicky is a Certified Land Specialist and has received the Silver Producer Agent of the Year Award, selling both land and residential properties across North and East Texas for 9 years. She also coordinates the administrative business for her agency’s office, utilizing her self-taught skills to successfully navigate multiple programs to create and maintain documents and images, unique listing presentations and digital marketing tools. With her diverse set of life experiences and education, Vicky is comfortable interacting and communicating with people from all walks of life. She is respected in her community for her honesty, strength of character, desire to help others and genuine faith in God and country.
